"The Manager"

Alright well this certainly seems like a perfectly fine time to write up a horrible little summary of myself so people who have no idea who I am can get a gist of who I am so that I am not just “some random unknown internet person” let’s keep it short.

General interests include but are not limited to:

- Lobotomy Corporation and all other ProjectMoon related media.

- FFXIV
- FromSoft SoulsBorne games (but casually)
- Pokemon to some degree
- Speedrunning
- Vaporwave/Retro Design Aesthetics
- Tons of music

I do exceptionally casual vtubing as nothing more than really a way to share fun games and experiencing with my friends and a pretty small community of individuals who find my stuff entertaining; though I won’t really talk much about that unless specifically asked about it because to be honest I don’t think it’s that interesting of a topic lol I’m not even really popular or like, “important” or anything.

Very quick Q&A 

Q: Can we be friends?
A: I mean if you’re a chill person and we talk from time to time yea I’m cool with that, it’s not like I’m gonna tell you no; but I admit that I at least want to actually get to know someone to some degree before I just say “that’s my friend”

Q: Do you like Genshin Impact?
A: I’m Native American so absolutely not, but I won’t hate anyone for their interest in it nor do I feel a need to rain on anyone’s parade. You’re allowed to like what you like, even if we’re friends I won’t take it personally. 

Q: Pronouns?
A: I give up on that after it being a point of controversy so often; at this point I settle for just telling people call me what you want; just please respect that I’m N/B

Q: Can we play [game] together sometime?
A: I mean probably, I’m shy but it’s not like I’m arrogant or think that I’m someone who’s too good for anyone’s time. I’m literally just shy and sometimes that comes across as though I don’t wish to be around others. 

I’ll leave it at that for the time being, because the best part about Tumblr in my personal opinion is that hey honestly; if you have a question for me or you want to know more about me or if you just wanna say hi I literally have an inbox right there and I won’t judge you any for using anon; as long as you’re not sending me direct hate shit for no reason I’m not gonna block you.

I FOUND IT

You ever feel like a character who gets like a 99.9% pass rate at the fandom smash or pass polls? Nah? Just me? Alright, that’s good I suppose.

For those unaware I had some beef (entirely one sided mind you) with
“Lakotaman1” because of a post I saw from him in which he mentioned that “Wasi'chu” meant “Lard, like pigs fat” which okay the thing about Lakota is that it’s an ever evolving language; but in my opinion it’s important to explain where these words come from.

Wasi'chu literally used to just mean “white man” from what I was told/grew up understanding, that’s how everyone I knew used it. Then it became associated with “Greedy person” but the only relation to “fat” that I’m aware of is “Takes the fat” which is to say greedy. As far as I’m aware, Lakota people do not shame people for being fat. At least not the people I grew up around; so hearing the word we associate with an insult towards white men being slung around to mean “it means you’re fat!” Kinda irked me because even if that’s the new meaning, even if that’s true; I think it’s important to explain the history of what it used to mean and why it has changed.

That being said it seems like Lakota Man is actually a pretty chill dude and I’m sure we’d probably get along; so ya know what, he’s cool with me and I will admit I probably got a little too heated over something that ultimately doesn’t really matter.

Oh neat the first time I heard of the concept the guy described it to me as "catastrophic functionality".

He was talking about it in the context of designing robots that would go in and stop nuclear reactor meltdowns, something that would 100% destroy the robot, but they would be designed to keep functioning and fighting the meltdown for as long as possible. He had some designs where over 80% of the robot has died and it was functionally dragging its corpse around by its one working arm because one more minute of functionality might save thousands.

I've been having a few bad years mental health wise, and thinking about those robots a lot .
